Tarawera Falls Walk

 

  Tarawera Falls is quite breath-taking and right on our doorstep.

  A short drive of 20 minutes through our forest.

  A20 minute walk (easy walk ) through dense native bush to our spectacular Falls.

  The river has it's origin in a vent half way up a vertical cliff, where water cascades out through the
  rock face to pools below.

  Continue on your walk, passing more smaller waterfalls, river views and onto Lake Tarawera and
  the Outlet

  Time: 2 Hours (3.5 kilometres)

 

    Bookings essential - group of up to 12 people.
 
  Saturday and Sunday from late October to end of April.

                                   We are a restricted fire zone all year round.

                                    is strictly forbidden.
